    LEGAL

    Terms

These terms cover repair services provided by Ohmvia, a board-level repair lab based in Rhodes, Greece, accepting mail-in work worldwide.

    Diagnosis

Each case carries a fixed diagnosis fee, communicated before work begins. The diagnosis fee is deducted from the final repair price if you approve the repair. If the board cannot be repaired, only the diagnosis fee applies.

    Approval & repair

No repair work is performed before you approve the quote. Quotes are based on the confirmed root cause after bench diagnosis. If a second fault is discovered during repair, work is paused and a revised quote issued.

    Turnaround

Typical turnaround is 7 to 14 business days from arrival of the board at the lab. Parts sourcing on uncommon components can extend this. Estimates are best-effort, not guarantees.

    Shipping & customs

You are responsible for sending the equipment to the lab. We recommend tracked, insured shipping and antistatic packaging. Return shipping is quoted per case based on destination country and preferred carrier. Customs duties on return are payable by the recipient where applicable.

    Risk & liability

Board-level repair carries inherent risk. We work carefully and document the process, but cannot guarantee that a previously damaged board will be recoverable. Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the diagnosis and repair fees paid for the case in question.

    Warranty

Approved repairs are warranted against recurrence of the same fault for a period communicated in writing per case. Warranty does not cover new damage, liquid ingress, impact, or unrelated failures occurring after return.

    Unclaimed equipment

Equipment not collected or paid for within 90 days of completion notification may be considered abandoned, after written reminders.

    Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. For questions, contact hello@ohmvia.com.

    Specialist and safety-sensitive equipment

Repair of automotive, marine, industrial, HVAC, energy, medical, laboratory, hospitality or other specialist electronics is limited to the agreed board-level work. Unless explicitly confirmed in writing, it does not include installation, vehicle or machine coding, calibration, waterproofing, commissioning, regulatory certification, electrical-safety approval or return-to-service authorization. The owner and their appropriately qualified technician remain responsible for safe removal, installation, system-level testing and every legally required validation.

Provided in good faith. Specific case terms are confirmed in writing per repair. Last reviewed: 2026.
